Who doesn’t love a good vfx breakdown? I suggest focusing on the final version first (bottom right box) and then go back to the original footage (top left) to fully grasp the beauty and work behind it.
Aside from all the 3D work involved, I’m amazed at how much they shot in front of a greenscreen. There’s that one shot where he catches a golf ball and it didn’t seem to have any vfx happening there. I wonder why they didn’t just shoot it on location; recreating a whole 3D living room instead of shooting on location doesn’t seem very efficient to me. Maybe it was a logistical thing, or some other behind the scenes drama I’m not aware of.
Either way, really cool spot, and great work by the guys at MassMarket.
